Anterior upper arm along both heads.
Referred pain pattern
Anterior shoulder pain over the bicipital groove and elbow crease.
Palpation & testing
Palpate the muscle belly along its accessible course. Reproduction of the patient's familiar pain on palpation supports involvement.
Common causes
Heavy curling, prolonged carrying, repeated overhead reaching.
Self-care & clinical treatment
Eccentric loading, postural reset. Clinically: needling, address scapular control.
